Plane makes rough landing at Purdue airport

WEST LAFAYETTE (May 17, 2014) – Two people escaped injury Saturday morning as a plane made a rough landing at the Purdue University Airport.

According to a Purdue spokesperson, a single-engine Cessna was practicing touch-and-goes around 10:30 a.m. when the landing gear retracted and the prop struck the runway.  The two people on board the plan were not injured in the incident.
