INDIANAPOLIS, Ind. (March 3, 2014)– Indianapolis Metropolitan Police Department (IMPD) officers are working with Greenwood police to find a suspect in a bank robbery.
At approximately 4:55 p.m., officers with IMPD were dispatched to the Citizen’s Bank in the 2300 blk. of E. County Line Rd. on a report of a bank robbery. When officers arrived the suspect had already fled out of the bank.
The suspect handed the teller a note implying he had a gun and demanded money. The teller complied with the suspect’s demands and handed the suspect an undisclosed amount of money. No injuries were reported and no weapon was seen. IMPD K9 Officer and his partner tracked for the suspect but lost the trail after an extended period of time.
