Police identify body found in Sullivan County cornfield

SULLIVAN COUNTY, Ind. (Jan. 2, 2015)– State police released the identity Friday of a body found in a southwestern Indiana cornfield.

The victim was identified as Tiffanie R. Adams, age 20, of Sullivan, Indiana. Investigators used dental records to make the identification.

Her death has been ruled a homicide. Adams was seven months pregnant at the time she went missing.

Adams was last seen on November 5, 2014 walking from her father’s home on North Broad Street to her mother’s residence nearly one block away. She was reported missing on November 7.

On December 30, a farmer discovered a dead body while harvesting corn in southwest Indiana at CR 300 North and CR 325 East.
