INDIANAPOLIS, Ind. — Indiana State Police have yet to determine the cause of a single car fatal accident that occurred Monday morning shortly after 5:30 a.m. along west bound I-465 just past just past I-69
ISP have reported that the single vehicle was traveling westbound on I-465 when it left the interstate and crashed into the barrier wall.
A male, age not reported, was pronounced dead at the scene.
While police searched for the cause of the accident, they have reported that the driver was not wearing a seat belt.
Traffic on the north-east side traveling from north bound I-465 and southbound I-69 to westbound I-465 was backed up for miles as the investigation continued.
