Police investigating shots fired on near north side

INDIANAPOLIS, Ind. (March 28, 2015) — Indianapolis Metro Police were called to an apartment complex on the near north side just before 5 p.m. for shots fired.

Witnesses told officers someone was firing shots out of a window near College and 17th Street.

SWAT was called to the scene to assist in finding the possible suspects.

Police took two men in for questioning, but no charges have been filed.

Some residents were evacuated from the apartment but police say no one was hurt.
