BLOOMINGTON, Ind. (Oct. 28, 2015)– A mother and son were arrested for their alleged involvement in a home invasion and armed robbery.

Police say Brandon Karns and Cindy Winger broke into a Bloomington apartment on Saturday. They kicked open the man’s bedroom door, pistol whipped him, and took his cash, wallet and phone before ransacking the apartment.

Investigators say the attack was retaliation. The man told police he and Karns sold marijuana to each other.

There was a dispute over money, and the man told police he filled a bag with fake marijuana and sold that to Karns.

The investigation is ongoing.
