FISHERS, Ind.—Five people were arrested Wednesday morning in connection with the armed robbery of a Fishers, Ind. bank.

Authorities said at approximately 8 a.m., two men violently forced their way by gunpoint into Community Bank, located at 12514 Reynolds Dr. After leaving the bank with an undisclosed amount of money, the suspects stole a bank employee’s vehicle and fled the scene.

Two additional vehicles containing other suspects also fled the area, said police. Officers with the Fishers Police Department initiated a traffic stop on the vehicles. Two of the vehicles stopped and police said the subjects inside were arrested without incident.

Authorities said the third vehicle stopped and the suspects continued to flee on foot. After a brief foot pursuit, another person was detained near the Baymont Suites hotel. Police said the other suspect fled inside the hotel and was later found hiding in a hotel closet.

The suspects were identified as Deandre Armour, 37, Duryea Rogers, 26, Olivia Haiflich, 20, and Tahita Burnett, 40. The fifth suspect’s identity has not yet been confirmed.
