INDIANAPOLIS (April 13, 2016) – Indianapolis Metropolitan Police officers are searching for a suspect after two early morning gas station robberies on the south side.
Officers were first dispatched to the 5300 block of South East Street on the report of a robbery. When they arrived on scene, officers say they confirmed the Speedway gas station had been robbed. According to police, no injuries were reported.
A short time later, officers received a call about another robbery in the 7200 block of Madison Avenue in Southport. When police arrived on scene, they found that a second Speedway gas station had been robbed.
According to police, witnesses of both robberies reported a similar suspect description. Officers say they are looking for a young female wearing a black hooded sweatshirt.
