Police seek suspect who walked into Carmel Lowe’s store, stole $1,600 in tools

CARMEL, Ind. (Aug. 25, 2015) – A man walked into a central Indiana Lowe’s store and walked out with nearly $1,600 in merchandise–and now police are looking for him.

According to Carmel police, the theft happened on March 29, 2015, around 10:20 a.m. at the Carmel Lowe’s store located at 14598 Lowes Way. Investigators said the man loaded a shopping cart with tools and left without paying for them. The items were valued at $1,574.

The man is about 5’5” and 140-160 pounds. Surveillance cameras captured images of him.
