Police seek man who stole wallet from woman’s purse, used credit card at Target

INDIANAPOLIS (Sept. 9, 2014) – A man stole a woman’s wallet from her purse and then used her credit card to buy items at Target, police say.

The theft happened Aug. 9 at Binkley’s Restaurant, 5902 N. College Ave., Indianapolis. The victim noticed her wallet and other items were missing from her purse.

Around 9 p.m. that day, a man entered the Target store at 6101 N. Keystone Ave. and used one of her credit cards. He was driving a vehicle with dark coloring.

Surveillance video captured images of the man wearing a black Super Bowl hat, black shirt, light pants and black and white tennis shoes.
