Police seek public’s help in solving fatal shooting of local college student

The Indianapolis Metropolitan Police Department is asking for the public’s help in locating who is responsible for the fatal shooting of a local college student from Africa.

Ousmane Goudiaby, 30, was killed on Jan. 27 while working at his computer repair business, located near 71st Street and Michigan Road.

Detectives searched the area for witnesses but have not been able to determine a motive or identify a suspect.

Police said Goudiaby moved to America from Africa in 2008 and was in the process of obtaining a second college degree.
