LAWRENCE, Ind. (Dec. 9, 2015) – Alcohol may have played a role in a crash in which a car flipped and crashed into several vehicles at a car lot, police say.

The car was going east on Pendleton Pike when it crossed over the lane and went into the lot at American Imports, striking three or four vehicles. Officers pulled the driver out of the car and said it then caught fire.

Lawrence police said they “strongly” believe alcohol was involved after administering a test on site. The driver was taken to Eskenazi Hospital.
