Suspects sought in armed gas station robbery

INDIANAPOLIS, Ind.—The Indianapolis Metropolitan Police Department is asking the public’s help in identifying two men wanted in connection with the armed robbery of a west side gas station.

The suspects entered McClure Oil at 5301 W. Rockville Rd. on June 3 at approximately 11:28 p.m. Police said one man grabbed the store clerk and pulled him over the counter, while holding a gun to his chest. The suspect demanded money and told the clerk he would kill him if he did not comply with his demands, said authorities.

Meanwhile, the other suspect jumped over the counter and stole Newport cigarettes and money from the cash register.

The first suspect was described to be in his 20’s, between 5’5” to 5’8” tall and has a thin build. He was wearing black jeans, a black hoodie and armed with a handgun. The second suspect was described to be in his 20’s, between 5’8 to 5’10” tall with a thin build. He was reported to be wearing black pants, a black hoodie, black and white Nike shoes and was also armed with a handgun.
