Police: Three hurt after home invasion in Anderson

ANDERSON – Two men forced their way into an Anderson home Monday morning, injuring three people and threatening them with a gun.

According to Anderson police, the men entered a home in the 1900 block of Fletcher St. around 10 a.m. Monday. One woman inside was hit in the back of the head with the gun and two other men inside were hurt. Police said drugs played a role in the crime.

The men took some cash and left in a Silver Grand Prix.

Police said Tarrah Hummel, a fourth person at the home, was an acquaintance who had spent the night. Investigators said she was involved in the robbery. She was arrested on a charge of aiding and inducing an armed robbery.

Police still looking for the two men involved in the robbery.
