INDIANAPOLIS - When it comes to attacking Donald Trump this election year, Rep. Andre Carson (D-IN) has become one of the most vocal members of Congress, recently saying that Trump may actually be trying to sabotage his own campaign.
In the video above, Carson talks about his frustration that Congress hasn't passed a bill to fund a stronger effort to fight the Zika virus, and Trump's attempts to reach out to African-American voters.
“It appears as if he knows he will not be the next president of the United States, so he’s trying to sabotage this thing because he’s not used to losing,” said Carson during a recent press briefing. “When he sees poll numbers declining, he’s crying like a baby.”
The statement came as Democratic Leader Nancy Pelosi and House Democratic leaders held a press conference in recent weeks to discuss the “House GOP’s reckless recess.”
