INDIANAPOLIS - Presidential candidate Donald Trump and his running mate Indiana governor Mike Pence will be together in the Hoosier State on Monday to raise money at a high-dollar fundraiser near Evansville.
Donors will pay anywhere from $10,000 to $250,000 to spend the evening with Trump and Pence, and other big name Republican hosts.
However, FOX59 has learned at least two big-name Republican candidates will not be at Monday's fundraiser - including gubernatorial candidate Eric Holcomb and Senate candidate Rep. Todd Young.
In the video above, IndyStar columnist Tim Swarens discusses the dilemma facing Republican candidates this fall, and the latest news from the campaign trail, including Friday's news that Democrat Hillary Clinton was releasing her 2015 tax returns, while calling on Trump to do the same.
Meantime, a similar debate over tax returns is making news in the race for Congress.
In the video below, see part of our interview with Democrat Shelli Yoder, who is releasing her tax returns, and trying to pressure her opponent, Republican Trey Hollingsworth to follow suit.
