INDIANAPOLIS, Ind. – Former Vice President Joe Biden is in Indianapolis today for the National Urban League Conference.

He is set to speak shortly after 9 A.M at the Convention Center downtown.

Other presidential candidates, Sen. Cory Booker, Sen. Amy Klobuchar, Congressman Tim Ryan, and former Congressman John Delaney are also listed as speakers on the conference’s website.

Organizers say the candidates will share their respective visions for achieving a more equitable and just America.

The civil rights organization also confirms to FOX59 that candidates Sen. Kamala Harris, Mayor Pete Buttigieg, and Mayor Bill DeBlasio will be attending the conference Friday.

The theme of this year’s conference is “Getting 2 Equal: United Not Divided.

Proponents hope the conference will promote unity, heighten diversity in local businesses, and raise awareness about economic inequality.

This is the first time the NULC has come to Indianapolis in 25 years.

The conference runs through Saturday.
