INDIANAPOLIS, Ind. (Nov. 4, 2014)— It was a big Election Day for statewide Republicans, as GOP candidates for treasurer, auditor, and secretary of state all cruised to easy victories.
Secretary of State Connie Lawson and Auditor Suzanne Crouch were both elected to their first full term and candidate Kelly Mitchell also won big, defeating Democrat Mike Boland.
In Marion County, Democrats had a good night, with Sheriff John Layton and Prosecutor Terry Curry both winning reelection.
