INDIANAPOLIS (Sept. 23, 2014) – Some of the guns stolen from a trailer at an Indianapolis gun store over the weekend have been recovered, FOX59 has learned.

The empty trailer was located Monday night in the 4400 block of Ralston Avenue. The theft happened sometime between 8 p.m. Friday and 8 a.m. Saturday when the trailer was parked behind Profire Arms and Supply, 7341 Rockville Rd. The trailer contained M-16s, submachine guns, an Uzi, handguns, shotguns, ammunition and suppressors.

Indianapolis Metropolitan police told FOX59 Tuesday that several of the guns were found at an Indianapolis home after 11 p.m. Monday and have been recovered. The homeowner was not connected to the gun thefts but was arrested on an unrelated charge, police said.

IMPD said the investigation is ongoing.
