Update (6:33 p.m.)– Police say Denise Ramsey has been located. The Silver Alert is no longer in effect.

COLUMBIA CITY, Ind.– A regional Silver Alert has been declared for a missing Columbia City woman.

Denise Elnore Ramsey, 60, is described by police as a white female, 5’8″, 195 lbs with brown hair and blue eyes. She was last seen wearing a dark-colored hoodie, light green shirt, pink pants, white sun hat and white gym shoes. She was carrying a pink purse.

Ramsey was last seen Thursday at 7 a.m. in Columbia City, about 10 miles west of Ft. Wayne, and is believed to be in danger and in need of medical attention.

She is believed to be traveling on foot or possibly a passenger in a 2009 Ford Focus with Indian plate number SBR627.
