INDIANAPOLIS, Ind. (May 31, 2015)— Boxes filled with evidence in the deadly Richmond Hill neighborhood explosion are headed to South Bend.
They will be used in the trial of Mark Leonard.
Leonard is charged with plotting to blow up his girlfriend’s home to commit insurance fraud.
The blast in November of 2012 killed two neighbors and damaged eighty homes.
Semis loaded with hundreds of pieces of evidence expected to be used in the trial were headed to South Bend Sunday.
FOX59 News has learned that Mark Leonard is already in the St. Joseph County jail in South Bend, awaiting a hearing Tuesday and jury selection in the trial which begins Thursday.
