Sheriff’s offices and State Police warn drivers the weather is causing accidents all over Central Indiana.

State Police at the Indianapolis district say roadways “including interstates are snow covered, slick and hazardous”.

A jack-knifed semi near 106th Street on I-65 had all southbound lanes closed Sunday evening and was leaking fuel.

Sheriff’s offices in Boone, Hendricks, Hamilton and Marion Counties all confirm road conditions are deteriorating, and accidents are becoming widespread.

State Police have also confirmed several slide-offs and minor accidents on all of the major interstates, due to the weather.

Slick roads cause multiple accidents on Mitthoeffer, between 30th & 34th streets caused police to close the area for a while Sunday evening.
