
It is Friday and it is still cold! Today temperatures will once again remain below normal, highs topping out in the mid 20s. Some scattered snow showers will be ongoing throughout the day as a disturbance moves through the state. A dusting up to a half inch of accumulation is possible. Winds will also be picking up with gusts to 30 mph possible!
We have a bitterly cold night on the way with temperatures bottoming out in the single digits! Mixed with breezy northwesterly winds, Saturday morning will feel subzero! Bundle up if you have any early morning errands to run.
The rest of Saturday is looking just as cold with highs only in the teens! Although temperatures will be harsh we are looking at some sunshine to brighten your day. Changes are on the way just in time for Valentine's Day.
Our next storm system will arrive late Saturday night and bring accumulating snow Sunday into Monday. Watch out for slick and hazardous driving conditions on Monday morning.
Snow chances will continue during the upcoming work week and temperatures will be on a warming trend.
