INDIANAPOLIS, Ind. (March 21, 2014)— It doesn’t appear Indiana Sen. Dan Coats is too upset after it was announced he was banned from traveling to Russia.
The senator, along with five other members of Congress and three White House aides, was banned from entering the country soon after President Barack Obama announced more sanctions on high-ranking Russian officials and associates of Russian President Vladimir Putin.
Sen. Coats has been very outspoken about taking action against Russia following Moscow’s move to annex the Crimea region of Ukraine.
Friday, the senator took a play from Late Show host David Letterman’s handbook and tweeted out the top 10 things he wouldn’t be allowed to do while he’s banned.
