Front is now through. The rest of the day should be pleasant.

The severe weather threat has now ended for today but there will still be a chance for rain through the morning hours.  A cold front pushing through this morning will mean a milder day on tap for us with highs near 80 degrees.  The high for the day has already been reached for the day and I expect to see temperatures near 80 for the entire day here in Indianapolis.  There should not be any big drop in temperature throughout the day.

Friday and most of Saturday will be dry with a ridge of high pressure dropping in from Canada.  This will mean this mild weather will stick around through then.  Saturday afternoon and evening will begin to see storm chances going up as high pressure continues to slide to our southeast.  The best chance for rain on Saturday will be to the northwest.  Sunday rain and storms should impact all of Central Indiana and the chance for rain will continue through Tuesday morning.  Highs through the weekend  should hover near 80 degrees each day with overnight lows varying greatly…  Friday morning will be a little on the cool side with lows in the mid-50s but things will change less than 48 hours later as Sunday lows will barely dip below 70 degrees.
