Silver Alert canceled for 88-year old northern Indiana man

Indiana State Police said the Silver Alert for Noble R. Heyde has been canceled.

What led to the cancellation was unclear.


BREMEN, Ind. (January 9, 2014) – A Silver Alert has been issued for an 88-year old man out of Bremen, IN.

Noble R. Heyde is 5 feet 9 inches tall, weighing 220 lbs., with short grey hair, a grey mustache, green eyes, and age spots on his forehead and wearing glasses.

Heyde was last seen today, January 9, at 1:00 pm EST in Bremen and is believed to be in danger.

It is believed he may have been traveling to Nappanee.

Heyde was last seen wearing black pants, black sweater with a grey tee shirt showing, a black coat and a leather Harley hat.

Heyde may be disoriented and require medical attention.

He is believed to be driving a Red, 2008 Ford F150 pickup truck with Indiana plate VTE 894.
