INDIANAPOLIS, Ind.—A business on Indianapolis’ southwest side sustained heavy damage in a fire Wednesday night.
Crews with the Wayne Township Fire Department responded to the used car dealership at 7206 W. Washington Street around 7:50 p.m. When they arrived, heavy smoke and fire was seen coming from the building.
Officials said the house that was converted into a business suffered serious smoke and fire damage. No one was inside at the time of the fire.
Investigators continue to investigate the cause.
