INDIANAPOLIS, Ind. (February 27, 2016) – The NFL Combine may be underway for professional football hopefuls, but a different kind of combine is helping Special Olympics athletes achieve their dreams at the Colts complex.

About 100 Special Olympics athletes took the field in a football clinic hosted by current and retired professional football players.

They played catch and ran a set of drills similar to those at the NFL Combine.

They also got to play a game of flag football.  The Colts’ Joe Reitz was at the clinic to cheer them on. “It`s fun to go out and high-five them and watch them go through and seeing the smiles on their faces, that`s what it`s all about,” said Reitz.
