State police investigate death of woman found in Fowler home

FOWLER (Dec. 30, 2014) – Indiana State Police are investigating the death of a Fowler woman found inside her home on the day after Christmas.

A neighbor found the body of Lori Krick, 41, at her home in the 1600 block of South 242 East on Friday, Dec. 26. The neighbor made the discovery in the afternoon and contacted the Benton County Sheriff’s Department.

Krick was pronounced dead at the scene, and a deputy called Indiana State Police to request a detective and crime scene investigator.

State police said Krick was last seen around 3:20 a.m. on Christmas Eve. She lived by herself.
