FOUNTAIN CITY, Ind. (October 25, 2015)–Who killed Wilma Cheek?  That’s the question being asked by the Indiana State Police Cold Case division.

Twenty years ago, on October 30th, State Police were called to the Willow Grove Cemetery on the southeast edge of Fountain City in Wayne County.

48-year-old Wilma Cheek of Williamsburg was found dead inside her 1989 Pontiac, parked in the cemetery.

An autopsy found that she had been shot to death in her car.  The time of her death is estimated between 10:30 a.m. and 11:15 a.m.

Investigators say there was also an undisclosed amount of money missing from the victim that has never been accounted for.

State Police are asking the public to call the Pendleton State Police Post at 765-778-2121 if you know someone or have information that might relate to this case.
