Statewide Silver Alert canceled after missing northwest Indiana man is located

Update [9:05 p.m.] — State police say Larry Stover has been located and the Silver Alert has been canceled.

CEDAR LAKE, Ind. — A Statewide Silver Alert  has been issued for a missing man from Cedar Lake, Indiana.

Police say Larry Stover, 63, is white, 5 feet 7 inches tall, 170 pounds, with brown hair and brown eyes.

Stover was last seen in Cedar Lake around 7 p.m. Tuesday. Police say he was wearing a gray t-shirt and jeans.

We’re told he is believed to be in danger and in need of medical attention.

Police believe Stover is traveling in a blue with purple tint 1995 Ford F150 with Indiana license plate D878NC.
