MUNCIE, Ind. – Students at Cowan High School were relocated Tuesday morning after a janitor came across a threatening note.

According to Superintendent Dennis Chambers, the janitor found the note before students arrived for class. The school contacted authorities and students were relocated to a nearby facility.

The note said a bomb would go off at the school, according to the Delaware County Sheriff’s Office.

A bomb squad and search dogs conducted a sweep of the school around 7:30 a.m. They didn’t find anything during their search, and students were allowed back inside the high school.
