NEW PALESTINE, Ind. (April 7, 2016)– Sugar Creek Township firefighters went above and beyond when they delivered a pizza for a driver involved in an accident.
The fire department says they were sent to 2000 South 500 West Wednesday evening on a report of a crash. When firefighter arrived, they discovered it was a pizza delivery driver on his way to a customer’s home. The driver was not injured.
The car was damaged and not driveable, so Lt. Dustin Dishman and firefighter Jay Sitton of Station 442 completed the delivery after cleaning up the crash.
The Sugar Creek Township Fire Department said their motto is, “However we can help.”
