Teen in critical condition, two others recovering following fatal Daleville crash

DALEVILLE — A teenager remains in critical condition and two others are recovering in an Indianapolis hospital following a high-speed crash that killed three people near Daleville Sunday afternoon.

Savanna Kalley, 13, was undergoing surgery Monday at IU Health Methodist Hospital in Indianapolis. Two others who survived the crash—13-year-old Jessica DeLong and 13-year-old Trace Joiner—are in good condition at Riley Hospital for Children at IU Health.

The crash happened around 4 p.m. Sunday. First responders found a severely damaged SUV off the road at County Road 600 West and State Road 67. Investigators said the driver, Lisa Case ,46, Anderson, died in the crash. Kent Kalley, 46, and Andrew Lackey, 12, also died. Both are from Yorktown.

The three teens were sitting in the backseat when the SUV went off the road, hitting a retaining wall and rolling over. Two passengers were ejected; the others were trapped inside the vehicle.
