Teen injured after being struck by car on northwest side

INDIANAPOLIS, Ind. (April 7, 2016) – A 15-year-old suffered minor injuries after being struck by a car on the city’s northwest side Thursday afternoon.

Police say the teen darted in front of the car driving east on West 52nd Street.

Police say the teen had scrapes, cuts and bruises. They were transported to Riley as a precautionary measure.

The incident is still under investigation.
