Teenager shot on city’s northeast side

INDIANAPOLIS, Ind. (December 1, 2014) – A teenager was shot on the city’s northeast side Monday morning.

The shooting occurred just before 2:15 a.m. in the 3900 block of Candle Berry Drive.

According to police, a 19-year-old male was shot once in the hip while he was going to his car on the street.

The victim was taken to IU Health Methodist Hospital with non-life threatening injuries.
