Live Guardian radar is up and running while showers and storms approach from the west…This rain will produce steady rain and some lightning, especially this morning across most of central Indiana.  Keep the umbrellas in hand, as you head out the door this morning!  I do expect to see the rain chances ease this afternoon with breaks for sunshine.  This should allow temperatures to warm and the mugginess to be felt.  Here is your timeline today:

Your Day Planner

More rain chances around tomorrow as another cold front slides through the state.  This will be followed by cooler, drier air for midweek thru Friday!  Spotty showers returning for Saturday and Sunday.  Here is your 7-day forecast:

Extended Forecast

The Brickyard 400 is this Sunday with gates opening at 6:00am.  Weather models are differing on rain chances this weekend!   Many models agree with rain chances on Saturday (although spotty) but diverge on rain chances on Sunday.  For now a small rain chance exist on Sunday with cooler temperatures, upper 70s but look for this to be modified in the days ahead!  Have a great Monday…
