(June 24, 2015) – Was Denver Broncos quarterback Peyton Manning on the trading block?
Benjamin Allbright, a host at 94.1 FM Denver/96.9 FM Boulder, said the team tried to ship Manning to the Houston Texans during the offseason. Allbright revealed that two sources told him about the proposed deal, saying some people in the Broncos organization wanted Brock Osweiler, drafted to become the team’s quarterback of the future, to start instead of Manning for the upcoming season.

The Broncos responded quickly to Allbright’s assertion, with Patrick Smyth, the team’s vice president of public relations, saying “the speculation is false, and your report is inaccurate.”
Here's one for the record – The speculation is false, and your report is inaccurate. https://t.co/Epge4WkOrX

Manning’s agent, Tom Condon, also denied the trade rumor, telling Pro Football Talk no one approached him about it, including the Broncos, Texans or Manning himself.
From agent Tom Condon to PFT: "Neither the Texans, the Broncos, or Peyton Manning ever talked to me about a trade anywhere."

Sources with the Texans told the Houston Chronicle’s John McClain that there was no truth to the report.
Sorry this took so long, but I wanted to talk with 3 Texans sources I trust about Manning report. All tell me it's not true.
