Triple shooting leaves two dead on Indy’s east side


INDIANAPOLIS, Ind. — Two men are dead following a triple shooting on the east side of Indianapolis early Saturday morning.

911 operators received a call shortly after 1:30 a.m. in reference to shots being fired.

Responding officers with the Indianapolis Metropolitan Police Department ended up locating two men that were shot on the 2400 block of North Sheridan Avenue.

Both of those men were pronounced dead at the scene.

A short time later, a third man was found in the 2100 block of North Kenyon Street who was suffering from gun shot wounds.

That man was transported to the Sidney & Lois Eskenazi Hospital in serious but stable condition.

Detectives have released very few details in the shooting and say they don’t have any suspects.

Homicide Detectives have launched an investigation, along with the Marion County Forensic Services Agency who assisted by gathering any potential evidence from the crime scene.
