HANLEY HILLS, Mo. (November 26, 2014) – Two FBI agents were shot Wednesday morning in St. Louis County.
According to KTVI, the incident occurred around 3:15 a.m. in the 1800 block of North Hanley Road in a community just five miles north of Ferguson.
The FBI agents were shot while on a call out for a barricaded subject, and were assisting another police department.
One was shot in the shoulder; the other was shot in the leg. The injuries are not considered life-threatening.
The agents were after Major Washington, 33, who was wanted for the fatal shooting of his mother during a Nov. 22 incident. Investigators said Washington shot the officer who responded to the 911 call.
