Two workers were injured in a chemical incident at a FedEx facility near the Indianapolis International Airport Friday.

Emergency crews were called to the Concentra medical center, located at 5940 Decatur Blvd, at approximately 11:10 a.m.

Fox59 was told the chemical was a non-hazardous additive to paint split in the form of powder that the workers got on their clothes.  The Wayne Township Fire chief said one of the workers inhaled it.  He said they were both “decontaminated” and transported to St. Francis Hospital in Mooresville as a precautionary measure.
