Two people taken to hospital after shooting on near northeast side

INDIANAPOLIS, Ind. (April 25, 2014)— Indianapolis police are investigating a near northeast side shooting that wounded two people.

Officers responded to the shooting at 36th Street and Linwood Avenue around 5:20 p.m.

Police told FOX59 two people were shot in their legs. The victims were alert and talking when being transported to an area hospital, said police.
