United flight diverted to Indy after dropping 10,000 feet mid-air

INDIANAPOLIS, Ind. (August 8, 2015) — A United flight traveling from Charlotte to Chicago was diverted to Indianapolis after dropping 10,000 feet mid-air. The reason for the drop is still unknown.

The plane landed safely at Indianapolis International Airport around 8:30 AM Sunday. No injuries were reported, but some people were complaining of headaches after the sudden pressure change in the cabin.
