INDIANAPOLIS, Ind. — An Indianapolis business partner arrived at work Saturday morning and found that someone had vandalized her business and caused thousands of dollars in damage.

According to Tamera Derish Arthur, a managing partner of the Nascar Car Wash located at 4855 Kentucky Avenue, someone in the early hours of Saturday morning came to the 24/7 business and destroyed eight of the 10 car wash vacuums and attempted to gain entry into a couple of vending machines at that business.

Security footage shows the initial actions took place between midnight and 1:00 a.m.

Arthur reports that just about a $100 was taken out of the vacuum coin boxes but she stated that damage to the entire vacuum units are so extensive that repairs or replacement could go into the thousands.

She also stated that the vandal left the business once but returned about 20 minutes later in an attempt to find other sources for money.

Security footage released by business shows a person wearing a hoodie and riding to and away from the business on a small bike. Police are asking anyone with information about the suspect or this robbery  to contact them at 317-327-3264.
