INDIANAPOLIS — Multiple neighbors called 911 reporting an east side fire Friday morning.

According to IFD Lt. Larry Tracy, firefighters responded to the 3900 block of Fletcher Avenue around 4 a.m.

When firefighters arrived, a vehicle, house and garage were all on fire.

Fire officials said it appears the vehicle caught fire then spread to the house.

Firefighters also battled downed power lines near the vehicle. It’s not known if the power lines cause the fire, were brought down by the flames, or helped the fire spread to the home.

Investigators responded to the scene and are working to determine the cause of the fire.
