RIPLEY COUNTY – Friends and family members will begin saying their final goodbyes Monday to three South Ripley High School students killed in a crash last week.

Timothy Bowman, Jacob Vogel and Samantha Hansen–all 18 years old–died after two pickup trucks collided at the intersection of County Road 850 and Fairground Road on Thursday. Three other students were hurt.

All went to South Ripley High School and were attending an FFA event at a nearby church. Investigators believe both drivers ran through stop signs. They also said speed may have been a factor.

The services are as follows:

Timothy Bowman: Tuesday, March 12, at 10:30 a.m. at Hopewell Baptist Church; visitation from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m. Monday at the church and 9:30 a.m. until the time of the service on Tuesday

Jacob Vogel: Tuesday, March 12, at 1 p.m. at St. Charles Catholic Church in Milan; visitation on Monday from 5 p.m. to 9 p.m. at Versailles Baptist Church

Samantha Hansen: Wednesday, March 13, at 10:30 a.m. at Hopewell Baptist Church; visitation is Tuesday from 5 p.m. to 9 p.m. at the church
