(April 10, 2016) – A visually impaired baby couldn’t help but smile when he saw his mother for the first time, thanks to a new pair of glasses.

The baby boy, named Leopold, has been diagnosed with Oculocutaneous Albinism, a rare disorder that causes vision problems. The disorder also affects the color of a person’s hair, skin and eyes.

“Today he received his glasses…and can now see the world clearly for the very first time,” said one of Leopold’s parents in a description of the video on YouTube.
