COCONINO COUNTY, Ariz. (April 30, 2015)– Arizona police arrested an Indiana fugitive Thursday about one mile west of Flagstaff.

Gregory Konrath was initially arrested for attempted murder by the Miami County Sheriff’s Office July 8 after investigators discovered that he had discussed a plot to murder his ex-wife and had allegedly taken substantial steps towards the completion of that murder.  Konrath was later charged with two counts of stalking in addition to the attempted murder charge.

Konrath was placed on in-home detention in early April of this year after entering a plea agreement on the stalking charge.

Shortly after 6 p.m. Tuesday, it was discovered that he had violated the in-home detention agreement by escaping from lawful detention.

He is now incarcerated in the Coconino County jail pending extradition to Miami County, Indiana. Konrath is being held without bond.
