INDIANAPOLIS (Feb. 12, 2014) – No one won Tuesday’s Mega Millions jackpot, and the prize has swelled to $139 million ahead of Friday night’s drawing.
That’s not the only chance Hoosiers have to win big. Wednesday’s Powerball jackpot is worth $284 million.
Both Powerball and Mega Millions can be paid out over 30 years in an annuity or through a one-time lump sum. Powerball’s cash value is $162.7 million; Mega Millions’ cash value is $76 million.
Powerball and Mega Millions also offer eight other combinations to win. More than 20,000 Mega Millions tickets hit some of those combinations, resulting in more than $39,000 in prizes for Tuesday’s drawing.
Tickets are available at more than 4,000 retailers around the state.
