SPEEDWAY, Ind. (May 22,2015)-- Carb Day at the Indianapolis Motor Speedway welcomed thousands to the track for a pre-race party. While the drivers got to hit the track for the final time before the 99th running the Indy 500, fans got to take advantage of the sun, concerts and fun.

FOX59's first stop was turn three.

"We've seen nudity, we've seen fights, we've seen it all. It's amazing," said race fan Kyle Johnson.

From table games to bags and even the bizarre--we met a cowboy wearing a jean skirt.

"If you live in Indiana and don't come to the track at least one day in the month of May you should probably move out of Indiana," said race fan Justin Noel.

The grills were sparked early and there was no shortage of rolling coolers.

However, if you overdo it and cause trouble, you may find yourself in one of the Marion County Sheriff's mobile jails.

"If we arrest them we will bring them here as a place to temporary house them," said Lt. Col Bart McAtee.

McAtee says the officers at the track this weekend aren't trying to ruin your party. They want to ensure your celebration goes on safely and within the law.

"We have a pretty sizable presence here today, much larger tonight and it will be much larger on Saturday,"said McAtee.

"I've seen people arrested, I've seen people beat up, I've seen people having a lot of fun and I've seen people have too much fun," said Noel.

One of the mobile jails will be stationed in lot 1C, or the Coke Lot. McAtee says there will be a larger presence in the lot this year after last year's fatal shooting.

If you see anything out of the ordinary, you are asked to dial 911 or find an officer at the track.
